For the last year now, I have wanted to make my own coin costume. I started collecting coins and had friends send me some too but I still dont have enough. So I just bought a huge lot of coins on ebay. I went to Joanne's and bought some fabric. I am using the brown/creme color as the base for a gold/silver coin mix. The red/brown/gold fabric I thought was gorgeous and will make a bra and belt w/ that too....w/ some coins but not as many, will probably add some brown/copper/black beads too.

I collect coins, but don't know if I can part with them...I save them from my travels.
How are you going to drill holes in them?
Please keep us posted with pictures of progress!
