Foto Fun!!

I went to the salon today and had my hair done and wanted to try and get some pics while it looked nice. LOL. I had Andy take these, and then we set the timer for the ones of us together.

Self portraits....

So I tried out the lighting in the new studio today...nothing fancy...I did a bit of editing afterwards, but overall I am impressed with my self portraits....half of them were blurry, but there were about 15 good ones. These were done w/ the 10 second self timer and I had to keep running back and forth to reset it....I spent about 1 1/2 hours today on this today....since it was raining anyway and there was nothing else to do...LOL

For the last year now, I have wanted to make my own coin costume. I started collecting coins and had friends send me some too but I still dont have enough. So I just bought a huge lot of coins on ebay. I went to Joanne's and bought some fabric. I am using the brown/creme color as the base for a gold/silver coin mix. The red/brown/gold fabric I thought was gorgeous and will make a bra and belt w/ that too....w/ some coins but not as many, will probably add some brown/copper/black beads too.

Open house- August 21

Thanks to everyone who came to the open house tonight. There were some new faces which is always fun to meet new people and see some old friends too. Everyone is so supportive!

We had yummy snacks and wine...and for the lucky ones still there at 11pm, Andy treated us to some wonderful flute playing....

Wild weekend workshop...

So I drove out to Winston-Salem today with a friend to the workshop with Sadie. The trip was interesting...but we made it there in one piece. The vendors had some great stuff, but I was good and didn't buy anything this time. Sadie was awesome! She taught us pops and lock and "drum solo secrets". She also taught a 3 min choreography which was very challenging with alot of layering. I loved it!! Even though I am exhausted. My girls and I went to lunch and met Betty Boop...
I am sad I couldnt stay for the show, but my little ones were missing me.

Plum Bella

Here are a couple pics taken today in my new Plum Bella. It was about 100 degrees outside and my son was less than thrilled to help me yet again take photos. I made him hold my veil and he was even more irritated with me. I wish I could just clone myself and take my own photoss....then they would come out exactly how I want them.....LOL

Studio Update

The studio is almost done, so I thought I would post the progress. It has been a few months now since we first started. I will be so glad when it is done and we can use it.
